About EBMA
The mission of the Educational Book and Media Association is to foster a unique community that brings together a wide range of wholesalers and publishers in order to address the ever changing book & media buying needs of the educational marketplace.

Letter from the President

Plans for our Annual Meeting (February 2-5) are in full swing and once again, it's going to be a great meeting. Co-chairs Angela Sherrill of Children's Plus and Arianne McHugh of Saddleback Publishers have created a fabulous program filled with amazing speakers, educators, authors, and illustrators, and the Loews Ventana is spectacular.

We have offered companies that support publishers and wholesalers in the educational and library marketplace an opportunity to exhibit at the meeting. Please contact Maureen Gelwicks, meeting@edupaperback.org, with names of companies that you would be interested in having as part of this exhibit group.

As you're making travel plans for the Annual Meeting, please be aware that the meeting schedule is full and one-on-ones on Friday, February 5th will go until noon. There will be approximately 23 meeting slots on that day, so all wholesalers and a large majority of publishers will have meetings on that Friday.

I look forward to seeing you all in Tucson!

EBMA 2016 Annual Meeting Theme Announcement
The meeting co-chairs, Arianne McHugh of Saddleback Publishing and Angela K. Sherrill of Children's Plus have put together an exciting and engaging program for the 2016 Annual Meeting on February 2-6 (Tuesday - Friday) at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ. The theme of this year's meeting is Diversity in Action. The co-chairs are eager to explore with attendees the most widely discussed topic in education today --diversity-- while at the same time focus the conversation on our membership and the action plans we can develop within our own companies in order to better serve the readers of today and tomorrow.

Registration for the annual meeting will open next week, watch your inbox for complete meeting details including registration fees, how to register, meeting agenda and the deadline schedule. As a reminder, hotel rooms will cost $199 per night, the resort fee has been waived for EBMA and registration will cost $995.

If you have questions regarding the meeting, please email meeting@edupaperback.org or call 540-318-7770.
