About EBMA
The mission of the Educational Book and Media Association is to foster a unique community that brings together a wide range of wholesalers and publishers in order to address the ever changing book & media buying needs of the educational marketplace.

Letter from the President
It's been less than a month since we met in Tucson and already the EBMA Board has a number of updates.  Some key highlights, which I'm delighted to announce, affect the board the Board composition.

The Executive Board has been elected! Joyce Skokut of Ingram Content Group will serve as Vice President and Nancy Stetzinger of Follett School Solutions as Treasurer. Equally exciting are our two new wholesaler board members, who were
announced on the slate in February and were approved, Melissa Posten of Classroom Library Co. and Tim Ditlow of Epic!

This dynamic composition of Board members is looking forward to serving the Association to the best of its ability. One tool that enables the Board to assess the Association's needs going forward is the follow up survey results from our 2016 Conference. If you have not yet completed the survey please take the time to do so and submit by Friday, March 4th.

As I noted in our Business Meeting in February you are invited to recommend other wholesalers, publishers, and associated vendors whose participation would potentially enhance EBMA. There is a prompt on the survey for this information, or you can submit names to Maureen Gelwicks, meeting@edupaperback.org.

There are a number of other exciting updates provided below. All of the key updates will be reflected on the EBMA webpage, as necessary.

Kind regards,

Jill Faherty
