Cinco Puntos Press (CPP) is an independent children's and literary press that specializes in publishing literature from the U.S./Mexico border, Mexico and the American Southwest. We are particularly well-known for our bilingual children's books (K-8) that are culturally relevant to the Latino community. In 1987, two years after we started publishing, Cinco Puntos Press had the good fortune to publish Joe Hayes' bilingual classic La Llorona, the Weeping Woman, our first children's book (85,000 in print).
