We are currently hiring for a Manager, FP&A. This position is an Exempt full-time position located in McHenry, IL. The pay range for this position is $110,000-$125,000 annually. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and 2 remote days (Wednesday & Friday). We will consider remote for the right candidate. Position Overview: Reporting to the Controller & Treasurer, this individual will help lead Follett’s annual planning process, support month-end financial reporting including variance analyses, and partner closely with functional leaders across the organization to drive continued growth and improve EBITDA margins. This data driven individual will help create a rolling forecast process and perform financial modeling & business decision analyses including asset allocation and cash flow management. Key Responsibilities: Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with functional leaders to set realistic financial targets that are aligned with the organizational strategies and goals. Includes variable and fixed labor planning, Create and manage a rolling forecast process Manage P & L and balance sheet creation for budget/forecast Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for executive leadership team Identify and investigate material variances, providing explanations for management to support decision making Understand and communicate actual vs budget P&Ls to budget owners on a monthly basis; recommending appropriate course of action to help achieve the financial targets Track temporary and permanent P & L impacts for budget/forecast Manage working capital and cash forecasting Manage Capex approval process Create reports using BI tools to query data used for financial & business KPI reporting Creation of ad-hoc reports and financial modeling on as-needed basis Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred Minimum of 7-10 years of financial analysis experience, 1-2 years supervisory experience Possess superb knowledge and understanding of financial systems, financial planning and analysis, and accounting principles Strong financial modeling skills, with a clear understanding of the relationship between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to present information in different forums and with all/multiple levels of leadership Deadline focused and ability to multi-task and deliver on multiple projects concurrently Ability to work independently and thrive in a role that is constantly changing to meet evolving demands Positive attitude, ability to work well and fast under pressure, exceptional customer service attitude Ability to execute cross functional initiatives through the coordination and influencing of various teams Ability to maintain confidentiality Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Experience in Enterprise solutions – NetSuite and Oracle PBCS (NetSuite Planning & Budgeting) preferred We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is a remote exempt full-time position . The base salary for this position is $70,895 plus commission. Position Overview: The Outside Sales Consultant will perform responsibilities to contact current and prospective school districts and sites to support selling the full portfolio of Follett content library and classroom, textbooks new, books, early childhood materials, digital content, technology platforms that support digital, as well as value added services and products. Promote, demonstrate, and sell value of all assigned product lines and services as described by company utilizing a shared Outside/Inside sales model. Focus selling efforts primarily on district level contacts and partner with inside sales team on site based selling. Meet established requirements of sales dollars, sales development and increases and other relevancies to the position. Monitor voice mail and e-mail daily and company correspondence and respond appropriately. Attend and participate in local, regional and national exhibits, webinars, trade shows and sales meetings as scheduled. Liaison and maintain communication with sales support groups within the company, library service consultants, technical support, curriculum alignment, sales management and other internal departments to respond to inquiries and to follow-up as needed. Manage your assigned territory with appropriate input into the existing CRM tool as well as call plans, daily/weekly itinerary and current company databases. Review and be knowledgeable on all promotional materials, catalogs and customer facing marketing collateral in order to present knowledgeably on sales calls and advance the sale. Research internet information regarding school districts, grants, programs, initiatives and other relevant information. Requirements: Bachelor degree or equivalent 3-5 years of related sales experience Solid presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
